So, here’s the deal.

You should no longer have anyone in your life that you feel like you have to make them like you.

That every time you see them you have to work so hard to look good, say the right words and keep up with their journey.

If you do have people like this in your life, stop right now.

These people you feel you have to impress are not supposed to be in your life.

You should not feel less than, or not good enough in anyone’s presence.

But how do we get to this place where you can say goodbye to them?

How do we get to this place where you own who you are in your life after loss, and you make no apologies?

How can we get you to your freedom? Freedom from people who make you feel less of your worth.

First things first.

1. Are you ok with who you are right now?

If the answer to this question is yes then we can move on to the next one.

2. Is everyone in your life ok with who you are?

If the answer to this is NO, then the question that follows is…

3. Who are the people in your life who make you feel like you need to work really hard when you are around them?

This list can include your boss, your family, your old friends, your new friends and even customers at your job.

Nobody is excluded from this question.

If your boss makes you feel less than then you need to look into this.

No title and no position of authority should make you feel less worthy.

Also, no family member or old friend should have those rights just because they have been in your life forever.

Nobody has the license to make you have to work at being important to them.

I have to be honest and tell you that I wasn’t always like this.

Ten years ago I had no self worth, no knowing of who I was.

Not even a glimpse of my worthiness of today.

I had to work so hard at it.

I had to let go of many people.

I had to take a chance on myself.

I had to use only the words that were true to me.

I had to take action that made me and only me happy.

I had to remind myself that I am a good person, and not everyone should have a free pass inside my life, inside my mind and inside my soul.

So without really explaining much to the people who consistently made me feel not good enough I closed their doors.

Yup thats right, you don’t have to explain why you are doing this.

You don’t have to say why.

Keep it simple. Keep it easy.

Big dramatic conversations don’t lead to anything good.

And that is all I wanted to say today.

Let go of the people who make you feel hard to love. Period. Especially after loss. (Click to Tweet!)

You do not need anyone around you who makes you feel worse than you already do.

Deal?
