Carrie brings a training and development background to the Second Firsts team.
She has worked with a variety of organizations including manufacturingA, zoology,
and conservation. Working with Second Firsts provides a unique opportunity to blend
her background with a higher purpose of helping others.
She can often be found on the beach enjoying the sunshine with her husband.
When not on the beach, she is most likely spending time with her family. She enjoys traveling to new locations, getting all twisted trying out a new yoga move, scouting for vintage finds, and Sunday afternoons spent sipping coffee in the company of great friends. Danielle is an avid paper lover, scrapbooker, movie watcher & voracious reader. She received a B.A. in English from Western State Colorado University and a B.A. in History from The Ohio State University. She has a strong background in legislative issues, program development, and team motivation in the public, non-profit and private sector fields.

Mitchell is currently working toward a B.A. in Communication Studies at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. He looks forward to translating his academic and professional experience in interpersonal, small group, and mass communication disciplines to help recruit new Life Starters. As a Spanish Minor, Mitchell relishes any opportunity to practice his language skills and work toward fluency.
In his free time, he enjoys cycling competitively, discovering a wide range of musical styles, and camping with friends and family. Mitchell is excited to join the team at Second Firsts to start using the skills he has developed to help people on a broad scale.
